	ACTIVITIES OF THE ACSS The objectives of the ACSS are promoted by the following principal activities : • holding a number of formal meetings and site visits each year, addressing matters of composite structures technology and covering the broadest possible range of interest; • organising technical conference with the widest possible participation in support of composite structures and related technologies; the conference may be organised in conjunction with other organisations; • circulating a publication of the Society, which will include news and technical articles of interest and value to members of the Society; • establishing branches of the Society in major cities throughout Australia where there are twenty or more existing and/or prospective members willing to promote the aims of the Society; • arranging and conducting social functions and appropriate activities which are conducive to the objectives of the Society.
